The season is over for Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis, who has not played since his concussion a month ago.
The Redskins placed Portis on injured reserve Tuesday after he had another round of tests by a specialist in Pittsburgh.
Portis was hurt in a helmet-to-helmet hit against Atlanta on Nov. 8 and has missed four games. Coach Jim Zorn said last week that Portis continued to experience dizziness doing certain things.
