Phil Spector Sentenced In Clarkson Killing

The famed music producer was sentenced Friday to 19 years to life in prison for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson, who was shot through the mouth in Spector's home six years ago. Spector, 69, looked straight forward and showed no emotion as the sentence was read.

The National Archives adds a new prize to its collection of historic documents — a letter written in 1863 by President Abraham Lincoln. The letter was written by the president on executive mansion letterhead stationery to Secretary of Treasury Salmon P.
